Decoder Programming and Setup

A FULL 1 day course on programming decoders, including hands-on sessions, from 10am till 5.00 PM

Proposed Course Dates (Subject to a minimum 3 attendees):

  • Saturday, 4th February 2017
  • Thursday, 11th May 2017
  • Thursday, 29th June 2017
  • Saturday, 28th October 2017

This workshop, is by its nature an advanced course, we recommend that you are comfortable with decoder installation, and basic concepts of CV programming.

This workshop is based on NMRA decoder standard CV's, and is not therefore aimed at any specific command station, please bring a decoder equipped loco, and your command station so that you may have a go.

  • Multipurpose C.V. 29 explained
  • Speed curves
  • Function mapping
  • Custom CV's

Tea and Coffee are available throughout the day, and a Full lunch is included included. Please contact us if you have special dietary requirements.
