An average train including 4 illuminated (by lamps) coaches connected to a decoder consumes about 1 ampere.
This function decoder has 5 function outputs. 2 of the 5 function outputs are programmed as front and rear lighting for the locomotive as standard. The other 3 can be programmed for a flashing light, rotating light or interior illumination.
