The Classic N-GP decoder is designed to fit in split lighting board GP Locomotives.

It is a lighting board replacement decoder for "classic" split lighting board locomotives. Though it requires a small amount of soldering, it circumvents the need for milling.

The "GP" style locomotive frame is characterized by the the shortness of the space for a decoder, the lack of metal nubs, and the way the tab holding sections of the frame fall away quickly. As you can see on the left the GP style frames do not have as much space as the RS, and they do not have sections of metal right under the decoder housing typical of a U-Boat style frame.

The CN-GP comes with onboard sunny white, super-bright, forward and reverse LEDs.

The CN-GP features the TCS exclusive auto-adjusting BEMF for incredible slow speed control.
