| What is Value Added Tax (VAT)? |

Value Added Tax (VAT) is a sales tax that is required to be paid by customers that live within the European Union(EU/EEC.)
DCC Supplies is based in the United Kingdom, the rate of VAT applied to our goods is 20.0%. If you DO NOT live in an
EEC member country you DO NOT have to pay VAT.
Additionally, products shipped to the Bailiwick of Guernsey and States of Jersey are not charged
VAT. This is because the Channel Islands aren't part of the European Union with respect to VAT.
To qualify for Channel Islands VAT-free shipping, the delivery address,must be a JE or GY postcode. Channel Island residents shipping products to mainland addresses will be charged VAT.
When entering an order, if you're not logged in, or you haven't yet created a delivery address in the Channel Islands , your shopping basket will show VAT. This will be removed at the shopping basket checkout/when you do log in and your order is processed, as the Channel Island delivery address postcode will be recognised.
All VAT-Free Shipments.
Will be posted with appropriate documentation as required by the postal authorities. Local import taxes and/or duties may apply, and shall be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Online Orders - NON-EEC Shipments.
We have considerable expertise in sending consignments all over the world. We deal with the insurance and necessary paperwork on your behalf, and, when ordering via our website, you have the option to select an insured shipping method. If you do not choose an insured method, loss or damage to the shipment shall be at your risk.

UK Sales tax is not charged on orders for NON-EEC destinations (This is automatically calculated when you log in/or checkout)
We do not charge an adminstration fee Internet orders despached directly overseas will receive the full 20.0% discount on your purchase
Company Purchases
If you are an EEC company with a valid EEC VAT number, we do not have to charge you VAT. Please quote your VAT number in the notes at checkout, and after validation, we will manually deduct 20.0% VAT on EEC shipments before shipping.
The simplest way to be sure that you are viewing the price that would apply to you is to create a member account. Once you create an account with your correct address information, all you have to do is log into your account when you visit the store and you will automatically be shown a price inclusive or exclusive of VAT, depending on your country of origin. |
